The Five Steps To Effective Learning

Hello , I hope you’re good just like I am. Before the roll out, I'd be fixing you with my five steps to effective learning. I came up with these five years ago and I have shared them once as a guest blogger.
Previously, I have presented these five steps as an effective way to learn from a book but they are so much more; they are the five steps to learn anything at all in life.
Whilst we are here to learn about fitness and diet, we are also here to motivate ourselves to live the best lives we can. To achieve any of these, we must first learn how to learn. Hence, this post pioneers all others.
My five steps to effective learning are simple and straight-forward. You should follow each step and all steps, hey! That's why they are called “steps”. If you skip, you might trip.
Step One: Accumulate
There are three ways to accumulate facts relating to anything you want learn : reading (media inclusive), networking and traveling. Networking provides easy information at little or no cost but that could be unverified. Reading will offer a more verified source if it is a book. The internet however presents both verified and unverified information. Traveling is the best way to find facts, since you go to see for yourself although this could be expensive and cannot be applied in all instances.
Step Two: Bridge
People will say things that are contradictory, you will also read loads of contradictory stuff online or in books. If you go an extra mile to see for yourself. You might get closer to the truth.
In a bid to bridge the gap, your goal is to finding the missing pieces in every tale you hear just to come up with a conclusion.

Step Three: Contribute
After you have drawn your own conclusion, you can now take a further step to share your thoughts with people via same fact finding channels so your thoughts can get some criticism just before you take action.

Step Four:  Demonstrate
In step four, you begin to practice what you have learnt or live by the conclusions you have drawn. You are setting an example for others to follow based on your own unique findings and you are taking positive actions because you have learnt.

Step Five: Empower
This is the most ignored step in learning. What's the point of learning if we can't teach others what we have learnt ?
We would hardly remember what we learn if we don't teach others. We should all be teachers. Empower others with your own ideas about the subject while living by example.
It might seem rigorous but it is what it takes to actually learn and never forget. It is what it takes to learn once and begin to make effective change. Be enthusiastic about the posts here, follow these five steps and you will experience positive changes that seem effortless.
